Sportin "ICEE DRINKS"

What better way to kick off our summer with an ice cold slushee "ICEE" drink..... to cool down our throats..... It's been so beautiful here and the weather has been very warm... The girls have been enjoying being outside riding there bikes! We have so much we want to do this summer like get the pool out, fly our kites, go to the parks, swimming lessons! I can't wait to enjoy the SUN with my family :)

Kassidee and Maddison are growing up SO fast. This year has actually flown right by! I can't believe there already turning 8 and 5 come July! I remember when they were just babies and Kassidee was helping me take care of little Maddi girl......... I have enjoyed my girls so much and they have taught me alot through these past 7 and 4 years! I hope with every thing I do in their lives will impact them in many ways. I love being their mom! I am blessed everyday and show them my unconditional love! Being a parent can be very challenging and they keep me on my toes, but I love their little personalities! I love their cute little spirits! I love their sharing and kindness to others! I love how smart their little brains are! I just love everything...........

I hold this letter dear to my heart... I have learned over the years through trial and error about friendship! I have gone through alot and sometimes didn't understand, but now that I'm older I understand alot more of what a friendship can intell.... I am so honored and blessed... I really can't say much more because the tears just keep coming! Aw'

Friendship involves: Recognition or familiarity with another's personality. Friends often share likes and dislikes, interests, pursuits, and passion. So how do we recognize potential friendship? Well that would be you. Signs include a mutual desire for companionship and perhaps a common bond of some kind. Beyond that, genuine friendship involves a shared sense of caring and concern, a desire to see one another grow and develop, and a hope for each other to succeed in all aspects of life. True friendship involves action: doing something for someone else while expecting nothing in return; sharing thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or negative criticism. True friendship involves relationship. Those mutual attributes that I mentioned above become the foundation in which recognition transpires into relationship. Friendship takes time: time to get to know each other, time to build shared memories, time to invest in each other's growth.

Trust is essential to true friendship. We all need someone with whom we can share our lives, thoughts, feelings, and frustrations. We need to be able to share our deepest secrets with someone, without worrying that those secrets will end up on the Internet the next day! Failing to be trustworthy with those intimate secrets can destroy a friendship in a hurry.

Faithfulness and loyalty are key to true friendship. Without them, we often feel betrayed, left out, and lonely. In true friendship, there is no backbiting, no negative thoughts, no turning away. True friendship requires certain accountability factors. Real friends encourage one another and forgive one another where there has been an offense. Genuine friendship supports during times of struggle. Friends are dependable. In true friendship, unconditional love develops. We love our friends no matter what and we always want the best for our friends.

Real and true friendship involves freedom of choice, accountability, truth, and forgiveness. Real friendship looks at the heart, not just the "packaging." Genuine friendship loves for love's sake, not just for what it can get in return. True friendship is both challenging and exciting. It risks, it overlooks faults, and it loves unconditionally, but it also involves being truthful, even though it may hurt.

Yeah like I said we do have a true and genuine friendship considering all the above. I only wish everyone could have someone like you in there lives, they would have a much happier, joyful, funner (is that a word) life!!!! It true friends who love you for who you are no matter your faults. And can being will to give advice as well as take some critism. To be able to forgive and to definetly not take advantage of or disrespect.

Considering all we have been thru - we have walked all the lines and we are still as strong as the day we met, well actually stronger. Its not everyday you have someone as wonderful as you walk into your life. I am very thankful for the day you walked into my life

Memorial Day!

There isn't one day that goes by that I don't think of Ryan, or talk about great memories I have of my brother! I came across this poem and thought I would share it... My brother is gone but I know his spirit is still alive! I know he is watching over his family and friends.... Today is a day of tribute to him, for all he has done for everyone that he touched in his life! I am proud to be his sister and proud to be the aunt to Shianne, Kody, Kellsie and Anthony!

This had to be one of most amazing movies I've seen. I cried like a baby during the show and even after! It was a huge reality check for me, and it made me realize alot of things! Mitch my husband is a great man! There are so many words to define him.. He held me all night and told me so many wonderful things about me and our life, kids etc. You don't realize that you can go at any given momment so to live your life to the fullest. Don't sweat the small or big stuff, life is way to short to worry and stress about money, bills, life as we call it. Easier said then done, I know I'll be the first to admit.... but to smile everyday for what you have. Be thankful... I think life sometimes gets us caught up and takes advantage of us but to always come back down to whats important! I don't know how I would deal with or greive if I lost the love of my life - I don't even like talking about it but I do know that I have the most wonderful family and friends in my life to walk me through it.

Nice "SHOT"

This is one of my best friends, Jody.... I call her "Jodster" she is an amazing women! Look what she shot in Baker's Montana May 3rd. An 8 inch beard (20 lb) Turkey. Travis, her awesome husband bought her this nice cameo tri-star 20 gage shotgun! I am SO proud of her, and look how cute she is all decked out in her gear - These photos were posted on a big forum site! Which she is already "Famous" in my book. I am posting about her because I love her in so many ways! There isn't enough words to define this women, I have known her now for 13 years, I am honored to be a friend by her side!!!!!! I totally adore our friendship! She has a special place in my heart and I love everything about her and all she has done for me and my family... Our friendship has been full of talking, laughing, hugging, and sharing.....and friends like her are for life.

Bride to "BE"

My beautiful sister April is getting hitched. We threw her a Bridal/Bachlorette Party on May 3rd 2008. I was able to finish downloading all the fun photos taken and put them in really cool stamped slideshow! I appreciate all the family and friends that could make it, I know it meant the world to April. We had the Bridal shower here at my house and it was awesome! We made chicken salad on crossant sandwhiches, this amazing dip for the fruit and pretzels and of course eclairs! We got to sit around and introduce ourselves and say our first impression of April. It got emotional, but happy emotional :)I made a book for everyone to sign and write advice to the bride and groom! We played this Bridal game, 3 models (Me, Andrea and Brittanie) 3 teams, and each team decorated their wedding dress using toilet paper! April was the judge, it was so funny and I was pretty impressed with all three! Then she opened presents and got some awesome stuff! Then we headed to Vegas, and you all know, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! LOL

It was a great time! April got spoiled and got alot of attention.... I am honored to be her sister. I am so happy for her! She deserves the best in life.

Maddison May 2008 "Dance Recital"

Last night was a proud night for the family of Maddison Wood. It was her last Dance recital for this dance year! She did amazing :) Her little dances were adorable! I do have video of them so they will follow this post, so everyone can enjoy them as we did. This is Maddison's 2nd year with Desert Edge Dance Company,she absolutely loves to dance! She has come along way from her first year. Maddison is no longer shy, she is such a little performer! All her dance teachers and dance director are amazed with her outgoing personality, how focus she is, how well she picks up and listens, very photogenic. The Senior dance troupes asked Maddison to greet everyone at the begining of the recital, they asked her what a performer does and what an audience does - Maddison was so cute with her reponses into the microphone! I was honored that they chose my little Maddi to go up there with them :)

Below are the flowers she received from her Dance Company, Mitch me and Kassidee, and my parents (Ken & Debby). They are beautiful huh!! Maddison was so excited to get them :)

I look forward to seeing her next year and all the new dances she learns, they also get new costumes this coming year! Maddison said she is VERY excited to see the new ones too.

Gifts for "ME"

What a keepsake moment for me, these gifts are priceless! I had the opportunity to open these wonderful gifts from my girls for Mothers Day. All I could do was cry happy tears.... I couldn't ask for anything more :) I am so honored and blessed to be the mother of my two beautiful girls. They give me so much joy and happiness. I remember the first day they were born, the little miracles they were, the natural mother instinct to love my child, nuture them, teach them right from wrong, to protect. I have had a fun ride so far, Kassidee 7 Maddison 4 soon to be another year older come July. Being a mother has made me become a better women. I have accomplished so much in my family! A mother has a so many fun jobs and hard ones too, and I have enjoyed them all. I look forward to many more years to come.

My STAR of the WEEK :)

Maddison got to be the "star of the week" at her pre-school. She had a ton of fun! We took treats in all week for her to pass out to her class mates. She got to be first in line and first helper. This is such a wonderful opportunity for the kids to feel special and boost their self esteem and become very independent. Maddison has come such a long way from 3 years old. She has attended Watch Me Grow Preschool now for 2 years, and is getting ready for the BIG kindergarten. I am so proud of her and how much she has learned. I love Mrs Julie and Grandma Smith. They have such great academic structure and a outline of their preschool. Maddison knows all the standard shapes and more, she knows her ABC's and can say them fast, she can write her entire name, she knows all the standard colors and more, she counts to 38 without skipping a number, recognizes numbers 1-100 all knows all the upper and lower case letters. Her teacher is amazed at how far she has come. She responds very well, we also had an evaluation for Kindergarten and the teacher was WOW, she is way ahead of schedule :) I do have to THANK Kassidee too, she has been such a huge inspiration to her little sister.

What a great opportunity!

My little Kassidee had a great time with her "VIP" day. She got to make this wonderful poster all about her... She had a hard time picking the pictures out because there were SO many! (Thanks alot to her mother that is a photo freak).... But she did a fantastic job! Kassidee wrote all about the pictures and her favorite things to do, swimming, dancing, wants to be an artist, loves to fly kites, loves to hang with her sister and family! She also got to take her favorite things and show them to her entire class. The poster will hang in her class all week, which Kassidee was very proud. Mitch and I are so honored to be her parents, she has such a kind heart and loves everyone! She is very smart and cares so much about her work...

Kassidee, you are a VIP in my book :) Good job!
