Just you and me.............

It was a weekday, kids were in school and we both had the day off - so we decided to hit the lake just the two of us! It was an amazing day for sure.. No one was on the water but us and 3 fishermen! The water was warm and it was glass all day, we wakeboaded for the first part of the morning, got my butt worked! It felt so great, my first run was awesome got so much air landed it even and let go of the rope (do that often).. Second run I got good air and board turned and I chest planted it (Oh that hurt bad), but I was like don't be a sissy la la - get up again! Mitch was like you okay, and of course me YA let's do it again :) LOL - 3rd and 4th runs were awesome, I can't get enough of it, but I knew I was getting tired to I had to stop! Then Mitch had his fun too :) I have been practicing allot this year, I have a goal to flip my board but I still need some good rounds of practice! I have got the S turn down and jumping the wakes, landings are a little hard at times but I'll get there :) I hope I can purchase next year my wake board that is lighter so it's easier to do these tricks. Then we just hung out on the boat in the hot sun, chatting away about everything and anything! It was wonderful.,,,, I love hanging out with Mitch, he is the BEST husband ever! I am truly blessed to have such a fabulous man in my life!!! Anyday we get off together I'd totally go out on our boat... It's so relaxing out on the water, you forget about reality and it seems for me anyway, when you are on the water your stress goes away. Thank you honey for all you do, you mean so much to me! I know after everyday goes by we were meant to be together! I love you

Visiting with good friends......

My close friend Kiely and I both work at the Olive Garden... We met a really amazing couple and have become very close with them.! They do so much for us, they took a trip to Europe and brought back some suvenyers for us! LOVED them..... They are so much fun to talk too, loving, kind and everytime they come we hear some amazing stories.... We finally decided to go to lunch outside of work so we could really visit and also they got to meet and play with baby Asher!! It was so much fun hanging out and hearing more fun stories! She is from New Zealand and her daughter was flying up from Austrialia (so we are excited to meet her).. She had to get some surgery done on her eye this week and has to lay flat on her stomach for 3 weeks, we told her if she needed anything or any help to call us! Our love and thoughts are with her. I look forward to hanging out and doing another lunch date with them all... Good times

It's a Manicure and Pedicure date!

It was a beautiful Saturday, we woke up and had a lovely breakfast.... We decided the day before it was a girls morning out :) So I took Kassidee and Maddison to go get their nails and toes done. It was so much fun to watch them get pampered! They talked the tech's ears off, but they thought they were the cutest little girls..... They let both the girls pick out there own color and style, they offered them a sprite and some sweets! The girls thought it was the coolest thing to sit up there on those comfy pillows and just chit chat :) We usually do nail painting at home, but I decided to take them to the beauty school and get the salon effect. They only charged us $5.00 each - so the girls gave each girl a $5.00 tip. The tech's were super cute and super nice! Then we went to the craft store, and the girls wanted to go to lunch at Iggy's (but they wanted to invite dad) so we went and picked him up! It was a great day! We ending up going swimming later and had a fabulous day :) I absolutley LOVE hanging out with my girls - they teach me so much every day, I love to hear their stories, thoughts, idea's, creative minds. I love how much love and appreciation they show, they are great kids and I am SUPER lucky to have them as mine... I couldn't ask for better girls.. I love you!

Maddison's Home-made Cast.......

This is one of many Cute stories that I get the pleasure of writing about..... Kassidee and Maddison were playing friends and Maddison pretended that she broke her arm - so they made a home made cast for her to have! Kids can be so creative :) They used the blue scarf because it was soft and fluffy so it was soft on the arm, then they used the pink one to wrap it about the neck so it wouldn't move.... Kassidee took this picture so I didn't see this until I downloaded the ones' off my camera, so I thought I would post this because this is another one of those memorable times the girls can look back on!!!
