Kassidee has joined what's called "Creative Kids Club" at school. She earns extra credit and gets a great recognition for research projects, book reports, becoming a great leader etc....
Kassidee in 2nd grade, is doing a "Fantastic" job.... Her teachers tell me all the time how unbelievable she is! Makes me proud :) It's amazing how much Kassidee learns at their age, and how well she retains it. Since they started the Spelling this year, she has received the bonus and challenge words every time! She has a spelling lesson each day at home and Friday is her actual test, she has received 100% on every test! Kassidee is doing awesome in reading, she is already in a 3rd grade level. She gets books from school everyday to read, along with doing the extra credit comprehension report. She also is in the reading club, that if she reads over 200 books she gets to go to Fiesta Fun at the end of the year! She's almost half way there :) GO KASS..... Math has been fun for Kassidee and I! I've always loved Math, so teaching my girls has been an enjoyable experience! We pull out the real money, and show time on the real clocks! Kassidee has a math program that she is learning at school - which she is doing great!
Kassidee loves art, she says her favorite center at school is art! She has done some amazing art projects... I ask Kassidee what she wants to be when she grows up (an artist)..... It's so much fun to see my girls progress and learn each day! I am proud to be there mother, so grateful each day I get to see them learn and help teach them.

Good Job Kassidee!

Maddison has spent her (3rd) and (4th) year with Watch me grow preschool. They have a fantastic group of teachers. Maddison gets to be "Star of the Week" when it arrives on her name. She gets to take in treats to share with her classmates. Star of week makes the child feel extra special, There photo goes on the star board and they get to be the first helper. Also they get to be at the begining of the line, they get to pass out papers! I think it's awesome because it boosts the child... Maddison was believe it or not (shy) and now she just talks off the teachers ears and has so many cute little friends. I absolutely LOVE Mrs. Julie's Outline! She gives you so much information and handouts for the children to learn outside of school. She has a fabulous 5 ways to encourage Literacy in young children. She does writing and reading, which Maddison has a practice wet erase sheet she practices her name everyday, sometimes 3 times a day. They do so many fun art projects and let the kids get messy and show there own sence of style. This year Maddison is learning the letters of the alphabet and every Wednesday gets to do her homework on that letter. So example, we working on letter L: 3 options she can choose from for her homework 1. (write a letter to someone at school. Bring it to school and give it to that person) 2. (Go to the library and check out a book, bring it to school and tell about it) 3. (Make a list of the things you love, bring it school to share). Encourages them and teaches them that homework can be fun. Maddison has learned a tremendous amount from Watch me grow. She has also learned alot from her older sister Kassidee! Maddison is very smart, and wants to learn all the time! She loves to the dot-to-dots, write stories, type, any color and paint activity, cut out and glue her art projects! She loves to make jewelry! I am so proud of her, and look forward to more fun times ahead.
Good Job Maddison!
