My little handy girl

Maddison is too cute! I snapped this first photo of her fixing the baby swing and then she smiled at me after... It was fun to sit there and watch her work. She didn't even know I was watching and I thought she is a smart little girl.... Those home depot workshops must really pay off :) She knew what kind of screwdriver to get, how to undo the case, replace the battery, put it all back together.... Way to go Maddi girl..............

"Happy Birthday" Mitch

Today is Mitch's 31st birthday and is still "SEXY" as ever....!!!!, Sometimes it’s when I see him working hard and giving his best, no matter how long or tough his day is... Sometimes it’s when he takes a stand for what’s right, and I remember how rare men of integrity like him really are... Sometimes it’s when he touches my heart with some sweet, thoughtful thing he does...Sometimes it’s when I watch him walk or see his smile, and start thinking about the next time we’ll be alone together... There isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel proud of the wonderful man you are, I am so lucky to be your wife and the father of our kids, and I am more in love with you than ever. You're such a wonderful father to both Kassidee and Maddison, they love you so very much and look up to you in so many ways! We are very glad that you are in our lives and we had lots of fun celebrating another birthday year with you.

Ryan's Grave......

While we were up for the day on our Mother/Daughter trip we came to see and decorate Ryan's gravesite. It was a beautiful but "Cold" day! We enjoyed spending the time there. It is always so nice to go see my brother. It is so peaceful :)-

Mother - Daughter Outing :)

My mother loves Lisa Williams, she found her and has kept on her since my brother passed 3 years ago! She saw that Lisa was coming to Utah and bought tickets for my sister and I. My niece Shianne and her Mom Jamie, Aunt Kristie, cousin Taylor and Grandma Tammy were there as well. I couldn't believe the outcome! She was pretty much sold out..... It was a very emotional evening. The show was very good, it was also very interesting! Alot of people are very skeptical about this kind of stuff, and everyone has the right to their own thoughts, feelings and opinions. I had a great time going and spending the time doing this :) Thanks Mom! It opened some doors....

A little information about Lisa; ever since she was a little girl, she discovered she had a gift. Communicating with those who are no longer with us. Some people say what she does is scary other people say she has changed their lives. She just says what she hears and see's and she see's a lot. Her personal 'spiritual' journey has been an exciting and rewarding one. She had to go through many life-changing experiences to understand what her calling was in life. She is also a healer and works along side the medical profession to aid the healing process.

Little Miss Jadyn....

I got to see and play with little miss Jadyn (Jackies' daughter) for a short time this past weekend while staying at her house.... She is so beautiful and precious!! Jadyn is so much fun and has the cutest personality. I can't believe how BIG she's getting... She'll be a year in May, wow where has the time gone!
Jackie is one of my close and dearest friends and I want her to know how much I appreciate and love her for all she does! I sometimes stay at her house when we come visit and she gives such great hospitality! She always has everything there for you,.. our visits are sometimes short because we have lots of other obligations.....when we do come and go it doesn't bother her and she makes you feel so welcome no matter how much time we have together. Our time is very cherished. I love Jackie for just being her!

My "1st" Tooth........

Yahoo! Maddison finally lost her first tooth...... She lost it while at school. Her teacher put it in a ziplock bag for her! She had a play date with Abby and it was the cutest thing ever.... She was so excited to show and tell me that Abbys mom took her home to show and give me the tooth and then went on with her actual playdate! Maddison was so excited that she didn't want to wait. :) I just loved every minute of it. She put her tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy - she must of have been dreaming all night about the tooth fairy and couldn't wait to get up, because she woke up at 6AM to show us how many quarters she got.... Maddison you're a hoot and I love you :)----

Maddison's project updates............

Maddison has finished her building unit using the toothpicks and gumdrops..... With them being future architects, they had a chance to see what's it like to build their own idea's. Maddison decided to build a house. She did a fantastic job! Maddison had allot of fun doing this unit.

Maddison is learning allot about manners, and the picture below shows that when you sneeze or cough that you should cover your mouth with a tissue. She is having so much fun in school and is always so excited to come home and how us what she did and learned.

Maddison is learning about groundhog day! They made this really cute puppet and saying: Here's a little groundhog, furry and brown, he's coming up to look around, if he see's his shadow, down he'll go - then 6 more weeks of winter - oh no!

10 Ways to Be a Good Sport..........

Since the girls have been in Dance, Tennis and Gymnastics, I thought I would share some ways in teaching them to be good sports..... And this could go also in any day life!


1. Be polite to everyone you're playing with and against. No trash talk - which means things while you're in the middle of a game.
2. Don't show off. Just play your best. If you're good, people will notice.
3. Tell your opponents "good game!" whether you've won or you've lost.
4. Learn the rules of the game. Show up for practices and games on time - even if you're the star of the team.
5. Listen to your coaches and follow their directions about playing.
6. Don't argue with an official if you don't agree with his or her call. If you don't understand a certain call, wait until after the game to ask your coach or the official to explain it to you.
7. Don't make up excuses or blame a teammate when you lose. Try to learn from what happened.
8. Be willing to sit out so other team members can get in the game - even if you think you're a better player.
9. Play fair and don't cheat.
10. Cheer for your teammates even if the score is 1,000 to 1! You could inspire a big comeback.

"Baby Tessa"

My good friend Stacy had her little baby girl "Tessa".... Me and the girls went to see them.... She is so adorable! I couldn't believe how much hair she had. The girls had allot of fun holding her and playing with her. I was so excited to go visit and hold precious little Tessa! Stacy, she is so cute and I wish you all the best. You'll be the best Mommy ever!!!!! I look forward to the next time we can come.
