Let's Dance!!

My good friend Alica Dobson (also Kassidee and Maddison's dance teacher last 2 years) has decided to open a dance studio! Alicia approached Mitch and I to be her general contractor on the job... It's been a great experience so far, talking on the phone and making deals is what I do best :) I love to do this kind of work and can't wait to see the final results! The studio will open tenatively October 1st, 2008 - It's a great location, with lots of great dance classes! I know she'll do so well... Another one of my favorite forte's is Marketing - so I am promoting her business, she is a wonderful person, teacher, director, etc....... So if you know of anyone that wants to "Dance" send them her way :)-

Girls day out

We went to Colorado this past weekend for 2 reasons: One to visit my Uncle Bill and the family and two to install their granite countertops in their new home they're building! While the boys were working hard at the house us girls were packing away at the other.... Then went out on a girls day out to lunch!

My auntie and cousin took us to Red Robin and Cold Stone! Boy was that good food! I miss not having a Red Robin, it was so nice to chit chat and hang out....... The girls and I had such a wonderful time! I am so happy and can't wait to see the house all completed and decorated. We'll be back soon so I'm looking foward to it...

Colorado "BANANAS"

Yes! This amuzement park in Colorado is called "Bananas" - great name for it too - GO BANANAS, (LOL) as we did :) It was a blast! We got to hang out with Uncle Bill and Auntee Deb this past weekend.... They are building a beautiful home and Mitch was able to install their granite countertops! After a hard day of work they decided to take us out for some fun, and believe you me it was fun.... They had these motorized Bumper Boats that squirt water - Kassidee got Daddy and Uncle Bill good - go Kassidee!!! I am surprised I was able to take the photos I did without getting my camera drenched (LOL) we got soaked....Next time I'll be taking a water proof camera. We had to go stand in the sun after to dry off - then we went on the fast track! They had 2 passenger cars, so we were able to take Kassidee & Maddison. I was bummed though that I wasn't able to get photos of us on the track, they wouldn't allow my camera on board, to many things flying out and getting others hurt (so it was a good thing), well that I couldn't take pictures :(

Maddison was hilarous, she was all about going "fast" on both the bumper boats and the fast track. She didn't mind about the getting wet part or turning the corners on the track - it was go faster dad, go faster! Kassidee funny too, all about how bad she could get you soaked and making the turns correctly without being bumped or getting passed or bumped by the other cars.... Thinking about every move - takes after her mom :) They both said how much fun they had, that they wanted to go back again!!!

Thanks for the good time Auntee Deb and Uncle Bill :) You definitely know how to have fun!!!!

My Cliff Jumpers

Well, ya'll are pretty aware that we love the lake and we love to go out and play in the water! My girls surprise me everyday with new things they want to learn and try, one being "wakeboarding" and another being cliff jumping! I couldn't believe they actually wanted to do this - this was Kassidee's 2nd time actually doing this.. The 1st time was with Mitch on their daddy daughter weekend when I was up in Vernal at the wedding. I was so sad that I missed the first time, but was ANXIOUS to see her do this the second time! I was so proud of her! I mean being her mother and all I was a little scared, but I knew everything would be fine especially with Mitch up there with her. He checked it out first to make sure all was good!!!! Kassidee had NO FEAR, she climbed up this rock with Mitch and jumped off, Maddison saw her and said I want to do that! I thought oh man - she was brave and climbed the rock, but then said it was too high and she wanted to start on the lower end. I was proud of Maddi that she even wanted to climb and attempt it, .......... so she jumped on the lower half....

GO MADDI

"KASSIDEE CLIFF JUMPING"

We love you DAD........

Kassidee did a backflip off the boat - sa'weet! Maddison is practicing her survival float - go girl

Weekend "FUN"

My fabulous friend Jackie invited us awhile back to go celebrate her honey Jason's birthday party in vegas this weekend. It was alot of fun! We ate, we shopped, we gambled, we swam at the pool, and we went to some fantastic clubs! Which "PINK" perfomed at Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Casino Friday night. Mitch and I missed her because we left for a minute, and by the time we got back she was already finished :( I was so bummed...........
Jackie got some great video and photo's, so I'll post those when I get them from her. My camera was having issues all weekend from batteries and black screens (can't wait to buy a new one) so Jackie is sending me her photo's that she took as well. The slideshow below is all I could take from my camera before I gave up.... LOL

I'm glad we got to spend the time and celebrate it with them :) Thanks for a good time guys!!!

K&M's new accessory :)

We bought a wakeboard for the girls! They were so excited to try on the bindings and they were being so freaking cute that I had to take some photos! They were already practicing turns and jumps on the carpet - My batteries died while Kassidee had it on, I asked her to put it back on but she wants me take pictures of her on the actual water ;) I am so excited that my girls want to do this "FUN" sport.... YEAH!! My little wakeboarders

The eyebrow........

I had to post this.... It definitely was a 'funny" moment! Maddison as you can see can lift her one eyebrow like her daddy, and the face she is pulling to go along with it is Priceless!!!!!! She's been pulling this one eyebrow thing since birth - Maddison is such a comedian, always making people laugh, loves to show off :) One of many things that her and daddy have in common! Me and Kassidee have tried and tried and just can't seem to get it down.

Me and Kassidee though can do Krazy Toes! Ya, I'm working on getting that picture taken. LOL
