COUNTRY JAM 2008 "Day 2"

The food that we had was delicious...... You know when you go to a fair or a festival and or something like Country Jam, the food tastes so yuumy! Yeah it was just that.. YUMMY! And of course with my Aunt being in VIP - she hooked us up :) I can't express enough how much fun we had - this was my first adventure to the Country Jam and won't be my last. I love country music and I love the atmosphere! We met some way cool people and look forward to continuing our relationships!

I can't believe how many people come to this Jam! It was packed..... Of course you get all kinds, but that's okay! I noticed with going to this Jam that most all the folk there were down to earth just having a good ol time... Just fixin to get r done! LOL (had to say that) - really though everyone we talked with were very friendly, fun and enjoyable :)

Joe Nichols was there! He sang alot of slow songs, he was mellow but still fantastic! I LOVE HIS VOICE.... So deep and sexy. He has some great songs that I love. Like I mentioned, it was just really relaxing to just hang out and listen to the great music..

Little Big Town was great!!! Great performers...... They have some new songs out that I liked, they are fairly new to country music and so far I dig em'

This is my cousin Brittanie and her husband Russell. Lots of fun to hang out with! They showed us around and had such a great time with them...... Love ya babe!

HOT SEXY COUPLE! WHO IS THAT :) Man they look "Fantastic" together.

Sugar land ROCKED the house! I LOVE THEM..... They were closing night and man did she give Country Jam a night to remember! She was amazing. I think she has a funny personality, she has great facial expressions when she sings, and one thing I love about her is shows emotion when singing her songs! She is an amazing artist and again one of my favorites!!!! Her new album comes out July and already love the songs she gave us a sneak peak of. I'll be in line buying it

COUNTRY JAM 2008 "Day 1"

This was definitely a GOOD TIME.... Spending time with my hubby, my aunt, uncle and cousins was wonderful. The girls got to see everyone and spend time and enjoyed themselves as well. I'd go back next year! The first day was cool, we walked around and checked out all the shops selling way cool stuff. They had bars and food set up everywhere, so of course you never ran out.. LOL - They had live bands playing while you were waiting to hear the headliners - so it was always ongoing with entertainment. They had carnival rides and this blasto shooter! Ya, kind of like bunjee jumping but it shoots you up and down... I didn't do it (scaredee' cat)

Jason Aldean was amazing too! He is also one of my favorite artist. His performance was kick ass! He's a hottie too! Not as hot as my husband though :) I love his songs, his voice and how he writes! Just an another amazing artist. He'll be around for a long time

Oh Tim! Tim McGraw! LOVE LOVE LOVE him and his music! Mitch had a great time watching him perform as well. He'd go again to watch Tim -he has great music!

I got to spend alot of quality time with Mitch, it was very relaxing and we got to talk alot. Mitch is such an amazing husband, very hard worker! I am spoiled, or the saying just well taken care of..... This was part of my birthday present to go to Country Jam, which i've never been - so THANK YOU honey for making this happen! Thank you to my awesome Uncle Bill and Aunt Debbie, they were also able to get us our tickets so BIG thanks to them as well. We had such a great time hangin out with them! The girls especially..... That'll be a whole new post in itself :)

Isn't my honey handsome in his cowboy hat :)

I figured this was as close to Tim McGraw I'd get, so I got up close and personal... LOL He is such a hottie! I loved watching his concert, he was fantastic! Absolutely love his voice!

My Aunt Debbie was VIP, who is in the photo below - which if I go next year I'll definitely get the hook up! You get free drinks, free food (ALL NIGHT) you get up close and personal with the performers (that's the part I like). Then it has its perks! Air conditioning bathrooms, covered shade, discounts - so I think it would be worth it, especially to be that close up and watch them perform! This year we just did general admission which was still a AWESOME TIME!

The shirt Shack was the BLAST! They had shows in between the head liners.. Throwing out free stuff, especially beads! Spraying water of course because it was HOT out there! We bought a few shirts inside there. It was fun to just hang out and hear the loud music and watch the crowd. Some people got crazy, but it was very fun watching the entertainment.

What kind of car are you? I'm my favorite car

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

Quality Time!

I LOVE being a mother of my two precious daughters! And I LOVE being an aunt to all my "BEAUTIFUL" nieces! They're all so much fun and have such great personalities! I feel that family is a love like no other, we allow us mistakes and little Faux Pas. I feel we embrace our differences and all the likenesses we share. In our times of need I feel we are our rock for us to stand, but most of all I feel a family is a love like no other! One of the greatest gifts that life can give to anyone is the very special love that families share... As years go by, It's good to know that there will always be certain people in our lives who care. There are countless things that only families have in common... Memories that no one else can make... These precious ties that bind a family together are bonds that time and distance cannot break. How fortunate we are when we have relatives to love us, It makes the world a happy place to be... Few gifts in life will last as long or touch the heart as deeply as the very special gift of family.

My family had such a great time in the 3 weeks that Shianne, Kody and Kellsie were down! We did alot of fun things together, but most of all we created some fabulous memories to cherish... I adore and love each one SO SO much. The quality time I got with each of them was well spent. I love hearing all their fun stories and what they are up too!

This was an exciting day for Mersades, Kody and Kellsie because all three got their haircuts! Aren't they all just "ADORABLE"

I couldn’t love you more if you were my own,
I’ll never forget the day you were born.
I share your triumphs, your joy, your pain.
I’ll be beside you every step of the way.
Watching you grow over the years,
has been a gift I hold so dear.
Always remember I’m here for you,
in all that you become and do.

I have to smile knowing that we have this connection because for you Kassidee and Maddison my dear daughters and Shianne, Kody, Kellsie, Mersades, and Dominique my nieces I have so much affection.....

My cousins and I are the best of friends
It's fun when we laugh and play,
I'm so glad when they come around
I wish that they could stay,
my cousins and I are the best of friends
I know that you'd agree,
They are so kind and I'm so glad
That they're part of the family.

Cuddling up and wiggling their toes, looking cute in their tiny clothes... Tasting, touching, reaching high, crawling under, scooting by... Hanging at the Farm

"Beautiful" This first photo has become one of my favorite's... Both Kassidee and Maddison are standing so proud and independant. Last night I couldn't help but look at this picture over and over and see how much my girls have grown into beautiful young ladies... I am in BIG trouble when they become teenagers Ha! Seriously though, I couldn't stop looking and telling myself that I am so proud to have these two in my life. They have given me so much happiness, joy, love, patience, and much more! I am so honored to be their mother :)

We got to see and visit my dearest friend Jody and her family on her farm! I absolutely LOVED every minute of it too! She has lots of farm animals on her ranch, chickens, turkeys, horses, cows, dogs, etc..... The girls had so much fun feeding the cows, it definitely is hard work, and takes alot of patience! I give lots of CUDO's to Jody.. but she loves every minute of though :) Jody is amazing, she was so good with my girls, let them help in everything! Gave them the opportunity to feed all the animals, and just be themselves! Thanks girl :)

Maddison got a kick out of feeding them with their bottles :) She needed help though after a couple of minutes, she said mom these bottles are heavy.. and it's not like a baby that stays still. LOL - The girls are still talking about it today, how much fun they had

Both the girls were able to ride the horses, Travis stayed with them the whole time! They had so much fun! Definitely something they could get used too! Travis is such a great guy... He is SO awesome with kids, makes them feel comfortable, gives them the opportunity to help with the process of putting the harness on the horse. Teaches them commands and talks about what the horses do, just takes the fear away and helps the kids not be so timid! Thanks Travis for helping and teaching my girls - they had a blast!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Dad has a quiet, deep influence on us. He is our guide, coach, our very own monster-basher, support and increasingly, as we grow up, our friend. He takes on so many roles so wonderfully, and so quietly that we almost take him for granted. And sometimes we even end up being a rebel.

On Father's Day, take time to say how much you appreciate him and make him feel special.

Yesterday was such a wonderful day! The girls and I got up and made Mitch breakfast... They gave Mitch their gifts that they hand-crafted at Brushfire! He was SO excited to get these! It meant more to him that the girls made him something then buying him anything... He was happy and the look on his face was priceless......... I know it made the girls feel really special what he said to them :)

Father's Day is a really special day for all those wonderful dad's out there! To honor all their hard work and dedication to their families! I adore and love my husband dearly, so I have this poem I found that goes hand in hand from me and the girls to our dad and all our grandpa's, uncles, friends -
"I just want you to know you mean the world to me,
Only a heart as dear as yours would give so unselfishly.
The many things you've done,
all the times that you were there,
helps me know deep inside how much you really care.
Even though I might not say,
I appreciate all you do,
Richly blessed is how we feel having a father just like you."
